Our Story
Im living proof, that a true encounter with the presence of God, has the power to transform our past, present and future.
At a young age I witnessed the love of God reach in and radically transform our very broken family. Our home was full of anger, addiction and pain. We didn’t know about a forgiving and healing Jesus. We had no clue there was a loving Father longing for us to have a relationship with Him. Our circumstances were complicated, messy and hopeless.
What a MIRACLE the day when LOVE came in and literally changed the atmosphere, delivered addiction and stopped a very painful divorce from finalizing. I learned the power of surrender as I watched my parents transform before my eyes. As a family, we walked through the redemption and restoration process with a strong desire to help others do the same.
One moment became a movement of radical transformation for our family and now many others as a result of His amazing grace and love! We have witnessed so many miracles along the way.
I later personally walked through freedom from anxiety and rebellion... I was the prodigal daughter at the age of 18, and found out fast that sin will take you further than you want to go, make you stay longer than you want to stay and pay a price you were unaware you’d pay.
When I turned 21, I had my own personal encounter.
It was my turn to surrender—and God faithfully met me on my apartment floor. I cried out, I let go, and the wave of LOVE that hit me took my breath away. From that day forward I was healed from anxiety and set free from oppression. I turned my life over to His leading and calling.
I began Bible College shortly after I became a licensed ordained Pastor and have served in various ministry roles for over two decades —sharing this hope and freedom through encounter retreats, preaching, outreach, prayer meetings, conferences and more.
317 STATEMENT OF FAITH
317 Ministries Network Inc. accepts the Bible as our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice.
· We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
· We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
· We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
· We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
· We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.
· We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’.
· We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives, which is to worship God, fulfill our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
· We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.
· We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
· We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
